Teeth, skulls and skeletons! Join us as we compare and contrast the wide variety of animal skeletal structures. Students will explore different species adaptations, learn about habitats and construct skeletons. For grades K-2
Student Cost: $34 The cost of this activity will be automatically deducted from the student allotment.
Chaperone Cost: $17 - Parents can pay Mr. Henry Henson, MSC accountant, by cash or credit card one week prior to the event. Credit card payment can be made over the phone (907) 352-7455
Date: October 28
Arrive at MSCS at 10:30 AM. Board the school bus at 10:45 AM. The Zoo School program will run from 12:00 - 1:00 PM followed by hot cocoa and teacher led tour through the zoo. We will return to MSCS at approximately 3:30 PM.
Note: The Alaska Zoo requires individuals to wear masks while indoors. Some of our activity will be outdoors mask free.
Special Instructions: Dress for the weather, and bring a sack lunch/ snack to be enjoyed on the school bus. Families have the option of meeting us at the zoo- parents also have the option of riding the school bus with us.
