Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad

AK Junior Theater presents, Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. This stirring drama with music is a classic tribute to the great American Harriet Tubman, who freed herself and hundreds of her people from slavery. We share in the joys, sorrows and challenges faced by this brave woman who changed the world through her courage. 

Itinerary, February 1:

10:00 AM check in at Mat-Su Central School 

10:20 AM depart on the school bus

11:45 AM - 12:45 PM showtime

2:00 PM arrive back at Mat-Su Central School 

Families are welcome to ride the school bus or meet us at the Performing Arts Center in Anchorage. Students can attend with a parent or without. MCS staff chaperones will monitor the group. 

Cost: Student and adult tickets are $22 per person. Student and one parent ticket price will be deducted from the student(s) allotment. Additional parents or family members, please pay Henry Henson, MCS accountant, for your tickets by credit card one week prior to the event.
