Presented by AK Junior Theater, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a delightful musical play based in the classic story by Washington Irving. Join Ichabod Crane, Brom Bones, the lovely Katrina Van Tassel, the residents of Tarry Town and oh, yes, the Headless Horseman, as they live the story made famous by the legend. The autumnal classic is faithful to the original story written in 1819 and will thrill and perhaps chill audiences (though not too scary).

Itinerary, October 19:

10:00 AM check in at Mat-Su Central School 

10:20 AM depart on the school bus

11:45 AM - 12:45 PM showtime

2:00 PM arrive back at Mat-Su Central School

Families are welcome to ride the school bus or meet us at the Performing Arts Center in Anchorage. Students can attend with a parent or without. MCS staff chaperones will monitor the group.

Cost: Student and adult tickets are $22 per person. Student and one parent ticket price will be deducted from the student(s) allotment. Additional parents or family members, please pay Henry Henson, MCS accountant, for your tickets by credit card one week prior to the event.
