Mat-Su Central families, May 11, 2021

We did it!  After all the challenges we faced, through your support and patience, it was a very successful year for the 2800 students that found Mat-Su Central as their educational home.  We have six staff members retiring this year who will be dearly missed.  Please find in this newsletter the members who are retiring and their bios.

I want to say thank you for giving us grace with all of our decisions. Your children have learned from you firsthand how strong, determined adults respond to adversity while unconditionally loving their children. These are the lifelong lessons they will take well past their school years.

Now we look to the future.  Our staff is determined to restore our on-site classes and reopen our library for our families.  We look forward to returning to our full hybrid program in the fall while getting back to the heart of our learning program, which is the long term relationships we have with you.

This is an exciting time of year as we all look forward to adventures with those we hold near and dear in our upcoming Alaskan summer.  Whether it is relaxing or recharging, I wish you all the best.

Honored to be your Principal,

Stacey McIntosh
