We're excited to have your child participate in Speech & Debate Club! Although it is not mandatory for enrollment, students will be encouraged to participate in the middle school district speech contests. Many of the club activities and lessons will focus on preparing students for the different competition speech categories (i.e. dramatic or humorous interpretation, expository and original oratory, impromptu, and debate).
