This is a supplement to your child’s core English language arts curriculum where I will partner with you to support your developing writer. Students will learn specific methods of separating the complex process of writing into the smallest possible steps. Using IEW's unique approach, students will be provided the structure needed to develop confidence in the writing process, while gradually guiding them toward greater independence and creativity. Students will learn a variety of structural models to help them organize any type of composition. Additionally, stylistic techniques will be taught incrementally to gently move students from the basics into more sophisticated writing.
