Event Description

Children’s author, musician and YouTuber Lucas Miller (who really does have a zoology degree), is on a mission to cultivate and nurture young scientists! His creative videos, smart songwriting and energetic teaching delight animal lovers of all ages. Two different shows for specific ages:  

 1. LIFE CYCLES: Students learn about the growth and migration of monarch butterflies, the metamorphosis of frogs, pollination of bluebonnets and the amazing work of honeybees. (Grades Pre K - 2) 

2. OCEAN ECOLOGY/ ADAPTATIONS & ECOSYSTEMS: Students learn about ocean food chains/webs, photosynthesis, and conservation. Learn about the world’s varied, natural environments and how climate affects the landscape and how wildlife is adapted with special features to help them thrive in different ecosystems. (Grades 3 - 6) 

Itinerary, April 23:

9:10 AM check in at Mat-Su Central School

9:25 AM depart on the school bus

10:30 - 11:30 AM showtime

12:45 PM arrive back at Mat-Su Central School

Cost: Student and adult tickets are $22 per person. Student and one parent ticket price will be deducted from the student(s) allotment. Additional parents or family members, will pay by credit card through "School Pay". A payment link will be sent directly to your email address.
