Gymnastics is a sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, artistry and endurance. Our gymnasts start as early as 18 months to 18 years old. Recreational classes learn all the basic skills within the sport and dedicated athletes move on to competitive levels competing both in state and out of state competitions. Our dedicated coaches strive to teach our athletes of all ages and skill levels to see their abilities and strengths.

We use aviation to excite students about math, science, geography, history and much more! Our courses are all online and at the student's own time and pace. Students will go through 10 aviation modules over the course of the year. By the end of the course they will understand the aerodynamics of flight, aviation weather, navigation, airplane instruments, as well as be proficient at flight in using the provided simulator. In addition to the multiple aviation disciplines they will enjoy over 30 aviation career pathways interviews filmed in a variety of locations from gold mines to NASA. To provide a student with a motorcycle that fits the student's body, to give them step by step instruction to safely operate the motorcycle in two 5.5 hour sessions. Creative Writing: Creative Writing 101 introduces students to the elements of a story, including genre, premise, plot, character, conflict, grammar, and voice. Over the course of the class, students will write a story in 1500 words or less for entry in a nation writing contest.

German Language: German language lessons in speaking, listening, reading, and writing for middle school, high school, and adults meet once weekly in a fall and spring workshop at the Irish Dance Studio in the Mayflower Building off Palmer Wasilla Highway. Space Science: A space science overview workshop that introduces various aspects of human spaceflight. Making Comics I & II - Learn the art of making comics. This will be a course for outdoors and fishing. We will go over outdoor safety, ice safety and fishing. How to pick and target species and what they like. We will learn about basic fishing skills and how to rig fishing poles along with how to make a simple piece of tackle. The kids will learn about how the tackle/hook works for the fish they are targeting. The students will learn about the tools involved in fishing. While we are fishing, we will have discussions on conservation and how to handle fish properly.

Piano tuning services.

Dancing Lights Yoga offers a variety of classes for all levels. The classes specific to Mat-Su Central School children are Children's and Teen Yoga. The Children's classes will begin with free style dancing allowing the children to move in whatever way feels comfortable to them and gets their wiggles out. There will then be a themed story time with books such as "I Like Myself", "Maybe", "What if?", etc. Stories that inspire thought and growth. Next, will be yoga where the little yogis bring breath work and movement together to bring strength and calming to the bodies and nervous systems. The class will end with a guided meditation to inspire creativity and learning. The Teen classes will consist of a theme mantra for all the class. Themes such as, "You are Enough", "You are Strong", Finding Your Inner Peace", etc. Teens will then learn the power of breath-work in calming the nervous system as well as the strength that comes when breath work and movement are combined through Yoga Asana. The class will end with guided meditation.

We provide a Babysitters course, teaching and reviewing the basic fundamentals of babysitting and safety. This course includes a course completion certificate through Polar Apex and CPR/AED and First-Aid certificate from the American Heart Association. This course is available for children ages 11-17.

We are a non profit 501c3 youth soccer club and provide professional fitness training and all aspects of the game of soccer to youth from ages 7-18 years of age.

Private music lessons in guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums and ukulele

I offer private music lessons for piano, voice, clarinet, saxophone, flute, guitar, beginner violin, drums, and ukulele. My goal for every student is to help them become independent musicians, able to pick up a piece of music and play, while also encouraging collaboration with other musicians. We focus on everything from reading music to building performance skills. All lessons are personalized to fit each student's needs and goals. I do have experience working with special needs, including ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, and autism.

I offer sewing lessons to kids and adults. Students learn how to use the sewing machine and hand sew making a variety of projects. Sewing teaches patience, hand eye coordination, develops fine motor skills and many other benefits. Class sizes are small for more personalized help. Students work at their own pace.

I provide brass instruction for beginner through advanced, all ages, one-on-one. I specialize in college prep and preparation for military band auditions due to experience as military band member and audition committee member.
