Class Description

**NOTE: This is a Mat-Su Central club, not a Hybrid Learning Academy class (see [FAQs](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1F6irkXqHn-Cw3pOP90bzNXGa3uhMKHE6aTp0htN5Is/edit?usp=sharing) for further clarification)_

Get ready to explore, create, and share!

The MCS Elementary Science Fair is an opportunity for students to dive into their curiosity and creativity.  They’ll get hands-on experience learning how real scientists ask questions, experiment, and solve problems - all while building confidence and having fun.  By participating, students take ownership of their learning and can showcase their discoveries to the MCS community.  Science really does rock! 😎

Flexible, family-friendly, and fully supported

There are no required class times or fees for this club.  Projects are completed at home with your guidance.  As part of the Science Fair Club, your family will receive:

  • The opportunity for your child to present and display their project in the fair
  • Helpful resources and step-by-step guidance
  • Timeline reminders to stay on track
  • Access to open lab time for extra support (dates and times sent after enrollment)

The MCS Elementary Science Fair is open to all K–5 students. After signing up, you will receive an invitation to join our Google Classroom.  This will be a convenient way to communicate and share resources.

Please reach out to Chenelle.Zoerb@matsuk12.us with any questions.  Thank you!
