Join Mrs. Chenelle Zoerb for an engaging mix of video and hands-on activities that investigate the relationships between the Earth, Sun, Moon, and stars. In-class projects will include activities such as making a sundial, modeling Moon phases with cookies, mapping constellations, creating a universe in a box … and more!
This class includes an overnight field trip to the Kenai Challenger Center on December 1st and 2nd, requiring an additional field trip fee of approximately $210. Once there, students will participate in the Rocketry Workshop and Mars Mission! Designated chaperones will be Chenelle Zoerb and Gena Chastain. Parents are welcome to join as space allows.
