Jet Boat Adventure! Join us for an awesome adventure in Talkeetna! Board Mahay’s jet boat and ride up the Talkeetna river to a Dena’ina Indian encampment and trapper cabin. Our tour guide will acquaint us with the different flora and fauna of the region as well as the history and artifacts found at the cabin and fish camp.

Field trip options:

Students attending solo:

Students attending without a parent/ guardian will be accompanied by an MSC staff chaperone. Our ratio of students to teachers is 5 to 1. Transportation is available with MCS chaperones for free. Please let us know if you are interested in this option and we will include transportation waivers.

• Cost per student: $TBD The cost of this activity will be automatically deducted from the student allotment. 
• Itinerary: Meet us at Mat -Su Central School at 9:30 AM. We will depart for Talkeetna at 9:45 AM and return to Mat-Su Central at 2:30 PM.
• Special instructions: Dress warm and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Families attending:

We love it when families can enjoy outings together! The cost of one parent/ guardian ticket ($TBD) can be automatically deducted from the student allotment. Additional adults must pay by credit card through "School Pay". A payment link will be sent directly to your email address.

• Itinerary: Meet us at the Talkeetna River dock at 11:15 AM. Enjoy a fun jet boat tour with Mahay’s from 11:30- 1:30 PM
