Congrats to all our graduating seniors this year - the biggest class of the MSBSD and the biggest class ever for Mat-Su Central! Feel free to rewatch the ceremony here. New Enrollees in 2026-27:
Do you know a family interested in attending MCS next year? Encourage them to register in ParentVUE on July 1.
Important Dates
- May 3: Deadline for all receipts dated Jan 1 to Apr 30 to be submitted
- May 14: Grades Due. Please contact the summer grader provided by your advisor if you would like to submit a late grade for a course.
- Jun 1: Deadline for reimbursement submissions for education expenses from May 1 - May 30. Purchases including summer camps, clinics, etc. during the month of June will be eligible for reimbursement after the student’s ILP meeting the following school year.
- June 6: Final grades/transcripts will be uploaded to the documents tab in ParentVUE
- June 15: Reimbursements for 2024-25 school year due. If you have any questions about reimbursements, please contact the accounting office at 907-861-7122.
- July 1: Registration for next school year opens for all new and returning families. We cannot officially enroll your student or coordinate an ILP appointment until this is complete, so please make this a priority. If you are a returning family, use your advisor's "Bookings" link (usually found in their email) to schedule an August ILP if you have not yet done so.

How to request classes for the Hybrid Learning School
Step 1: Submit the Initial Participation Request
To begin, log in to ParentVUE and select Online Registration in the upper-right corner. On the next screen, choose Mat-Su Hybrid Course Request and complete the participation request form to indicate your interest in the Hybrid program. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email verifying that your request has been received.
Step 2: Wait for Processing and ParentVUE Course Request Access
Families cannot request courses in ParentVUE until Step 1 has been processed. Once your participation request has been approved (please allow up to one week), you will receive a second email containing:
- ParentVUE course request instructions
- A step-by-step guide for entering course requests
Hybrid course placements will be determined by lottery. Accepted course enrollments will appear in ParentVUE by July 30. In the meantime, we encourage families to review the 2026–2027 Hybrid course offerings.
Additional Information
- A separate participation request must be submitted for each student interested in Hybrid classes.
- The participation request window closes on June 30.
- Submitting a participation request does not guarantee placement in any specific class.
- Information about additional Mat-Su Central opportunities—including clubs, field trips, and educational travel—will be shared later in July as ILP meetings begin.
- Families may have additional opportunities at that time to request classes with remaining availability.
- Class fees are expected to be $75 per course, pending final MSBSD Board approval. Fees may be paid using allotment funds.
