Class Description
Discover the amazing world of Alaska’s feathered friends! In this engaging class, students will explore the diverse bird species that call Alaska home through hands-on classroom activities each Wednesday. Then, on Fridays, we’ll take our learning into the field with exciting trips to locations like the Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, the Alaska Museum of Science and Nature, and the Palmer Hay Flats. Students will observe birds in their natural habitats, learn about conservation efforts, and deepen their appreciation for the natural world.
Note: Some field trips may require a small fee for bus transportation or facility admission.
