For students of various ages interested in learning violin, viola, cello, or bass in a group environment. This class meets twice a week. 

Some instruments are available to check out with Mrs. Schwartz or through the library; otherwise, they can be purchased or rented at local music stores. 

Materials needed: An instrument, Essential Elements for Strings - Book 1 for the instrument the student has chosen. If the student doesn’t know which instrument yet, wait for Mrs. Schwartz to help when classes begin. 

She will demonstrate each instrument and help families with the selection process.
