Class Description

Semester 2 Skilled 3D Design provides students with a wide variety of advancing three dimensional design techniques that develop students’ skills in creating realistically and expressively through practice, experimentation, and revision.

Some favorites in this class are are plaster masks, book nooks, and recreating famous paintings in 3D. Projects may also include:

Daily sketches

Collaborative games & projects

Paper Mache

Hand built clay

Assemblage boxes

Wire/ tissue paper

Faux taxidermy

Wire faces

3D wire objects

Reed & tissue paper

Cardboard ‘homes’

*Optional Independent Studio Thursdays 1-3: Students may use this time to work on projects.
