MCS News

Many of the on-site classes are beginning for the fall semester. Class requests are now closed unless otherwise indicated on the offerings page, but reach out to your advisor or the specific teacher if you have follow-up questions.

Here are some reminders to ensure MCS is able to keep offering a successful on-site experience:

  • MCS is not a drop off school. During class, students are directly supervised by their on-site teacher, but they should be dropped off and picked up in accordance with these time frames. Parents should not leave students unattended in the library. Our wonderful librarian is usually multitasking and cannot provide direct supervision for your child.
  • MCS is a K-12 school, meaning language and behavior by high school students should be appropriate for the elementary students who might be in their vicinity.
  • On-site opportunities are in addition to the core homeschool and independent learning program. Participation is both a choice and a privilege and may be revoked by school administration if disciplinary situations occur. In the interest of student safety, all students must have direct staff or adult supervision when on campus.
